Main Court offers a safe and welcoming environment and expects coaches and participants to follow our guidelines:
Be respectful of others: Respect means treating others with dignity and courtesy, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or identity.
Be inclusive and welcoming: Welcoming inclusivity means creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable and valued. We encourage you to reach out to new people and build relationships with people from different backgrounds.
Be professional: Professionalism means conducting yourself appropriately in the workplace. This includes dressing appropriately, being on time for meetings, and respecting your colleagues.
Be mindful of your language; Mindful language is respectful and inclusive, avoiding discriminatory or offensive language.
Be aware of your surroundings: Awareness means being conscious of your behavior and how it affects others. If you see someone behaving inappropriately, please report it to a manager.
Expectations:
Legal compliance: Participants must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Respect for company property: Participants must respect company property, including not damaging or destroying property, and not using property for personal purposes.
Personal appearance: Participants must maintain a professional appearance, dress appropriately for the workplace, and be clean and well-groomed.
Absenteeism and lateness: Participants must be punctual and regularly attend work.
Disciplinary actions: Any violation of the code of conduct may result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment.
Coaching Requirements:
Main Court Instructors must respect all players, regardless of their skill level or experience. They must be patient and encouraging and able to create a positive learning environment for everyone.
Main Court Instructors must be familiar with pickleball rules and teach them to players clearly and concisely. They must also be able to enforce the rules fairly and consistently.
Main Court Instructors must be insured against potential injury. Main Court is not liable for injuries or issues arising during everyday activities.
